Niv
Welcome to NA Psychological Services. I am a dedicated Registered Provisional Psychologist committed to fostering growth and healing. With a foundation in a BSc degree majoring in Psychology and a subsequent Master's in Counseling Psychology, I've cultivated a deep understanding of the human mind and behavior. My primary goal is to create a space where each client feels not just welcomed, but truly seen—a rare and invaluable experience in today's world.
MY STORY
As a certified EMDR and Flash Technique provider, I offer specialized expertise in trauma therapy, bringing a nuanced approach to trauma resolution and healing. Growing up in Canada within a culturally rich East-Indian background has given me a deep appreciation for diversity and inclusivity, which form the foundation of my practice. I prioritize culturally sensitive and socially just counseling, ensuring that I honor and respect individual differences in ethnicity, race, gender, sexuality, age, socio-economic status, language, and physical abilities.

My professional journey spans three esteemed clinics, where I offer comprehensive psychological care. At Michelle Neustaedter Counselling in Airdrie, Alberta, where I completed my graduate internship, I continue to serve as a Virtual Registered Provisional Psychologist, delivering therapeutic support remotely. I also contribute to Synapse (formerly Park Integrative Health) in Sherwood Park, Alberta, where I provide both in-person and virtual therapy, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, chiropractors, physiotherapists, and reiki specialists. Additionally, I work with ARCH Psychological to further enhance my expertise in psychological assessments, broadening my skill set and deepening my understanding of various psychological conditions. I address a wide spectrum of concerns, including addiction, relationship dynamics, family issues, work-related stress, trauma, suicidality, personal development, anxiety, depression, and grief.

Beyond my clinical practice, I have dedicated over a decade to volunteering in hospitals and collaborating with non-governmental organizations. These experiences have enriched my understanding of human resilience and the critical role of compassionate care in fostering recovery and growth.
In my personal time, I'm an avid traveler and a connoisseur of cafes, finding inspiration in exploring new cultures and connecting with diverse communities.
Remember, seeking help is an act of courage and strength. If you're ready to embark on this transformative journey or restart it, let's take the first step together.
